By attending committee meetings, board meetings, Committee Days, and the Convention, participants find out first hand what the institute does and how much it means to its members.

Producer, Associate, and Professional members are invited to join Leadership PCI, an extraordinary opportunity for participants to accelerate their growth as high-potential employees. During this year long program, the focus of learning is Emotional Intelligence with a heavy emphasis on self-awareness, self-management, knowledge of human differences, quality listening, feedback, motivation, coaching for performance improvement, and change management. A unique feature of this program is work in values and personal presence, including the writing and presentation of a values-purpose statement. Upon graduation, participants are expected to join at least one PCI committee.
Mandatory Events
Each participant must attend four events and are responsible for the following costs:

Kick off at the PCI Convention: travel and lodging only
- Spring Leadership Workshop: travel and lodging only
- Winter Leadership Workshop: travel and lodging only
- Graduation at the PCI Convention: travel and lodging only
Candidate Requirements
Leadership PCI will accept nominations from all membership ranks and all areas of the precast industry. It is recommended that candidates have a minimum of three continuous years of employment within the industry and have exhibited job performance and other traits consistent with a high-potential employee.
Candidate Application
Any PCI member can nominate a candidate. Candidates are chosen based on potential provided in the submission and representation membership categories. All candidates are notified of the selection committee’s decision at least 60 days prior to the Convention. Each candidate and sponsor must submit their application separately by the deadline listed below.
