The Northeast Bulb Tee Girder (NEBT) is available in various beam depths ranging from 39 to 87 in. The standardization of this girder allows for the efficient reuse of precast producer forms, lowering construction costs. NEBT girders enable integral abutments, which reduce substructure costs by eliminating bearing devices and roadway joints. As a result, maintenance costs are reduced while ride comfort is improved.   Wider flanges on the NEBT girders allow for a thinner deck slab, further lowering costs.
